The lights are on
During Gearbox's panel at PAX Australia, the studio announced HD remakes of Homeworld and Homeworld 2 and more downloadable content coming to Borderlands 2.
The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 will add 11 new levels to the current cap, as well as the Digistruct Peak Challenge. It will also allow players to "over level" the game allowing motivated players to add more challenge to the game. No release date for the Upgrade Pack was announced, but Gearbox confirmed that it will cost $5, and is not part of the DLC season pass.
A free update is also planned for Borderlands 2 that will increase the amount of ammunition players can carry, add new bank slots, and inventory capacity. These upgrades will be purchasable using Eridium.
Also on the way is T.K Baha’s Bloody Harvest, a DLC throwback to the original Borderlands' The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC. Among the only details revealed for T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest is that it will include a boss battle against the pumpkin creature, Jacques O’Lantern.
Gearbox says that these are not the final DLC announcements for Bordlerands 2, and players can expect one or two more content add-ons.
Our TakeWith all of the DLC that is coming to and has already arrived for Borderlands 2, the game has almost taken on the qualities of a free-to-play title. It's not bad model to adopt though when it means the game is constantly updated with new content.

Oh man this is awesome, I love the support they're showing bl2. Hopefully it comes out soon
oh MAN! this means grinding for all my level 61 gear was for naught. :(
Can't wait to get my hands on these. I'm already played the crap out of this game!
Now if only they could show the same quality and support for all their other titles.
I just want to raid the moon base. That's all I'm asking for, Gearbox!
So awesome. I'll be getting all of this future DLC.
In regards to "Season Pass" type things, I thought Battlefield 3's "Premium" was pretty good, however, I do think they released the maps way to close to eachother.
