The lights are on
Old-school shooters are the new, old thing, and that's OK. As one segment of the first-person market pushes toward realism, persistent profiles, and gun-based experience levels, the room for experiences pioneered in the 1990s grows. Some teams have made these titles their bread and butter, and Croteam, one of the best, is coming back to the table with a new Serious Sam game.
Serious Sam 4 is underway, and the duo of Croteam and publisher Devolver Digital want to make sure you are ready. The latest weekly Humble Bundle offers up every title in the Serious Sam series, including:
For those that want the full package, Serious Sam 3: BFE and the non-HD Serious Sam 2 are available for paying more than the average (currently sitting at a paltry $4.25). For more on the Serious Sam Humble Bundle check out the (hilarious) promotional video below and head on over to the official site.

Nice! More older game developers need to do this to entice new gamer to play older games, like Deus Ex.
That video rules btw, loved it. Great games, had a lot of fun at LAN parties back in the day. Cannon ball gun.. best.gun.ever. Really worth picking up if you haven played them (or all of them).
That image is hilarious. I mean, right? It's hilarious.
Well, that video was pretty awesome.
Considering what a massive, massive step backwards for the series Serious Sam 3 was, I don't trust them to make a Serious Sam game anymore. The first two were great, First and Second Encounter, but the actual third one was fantastic. It was colorful as hell, filled with a ton of variety in both enemy and level design. It was a great game.
Then they went ahead and made the last one, which completely lost all of the color, variety and awesome weapons of the last one and replaced it with brown and gray and boring. No thanks.
Sold!! This & Painkiller are always so much fun.
Oh man, Serious Sam? Ima have to try and get this, Cuz Sam was my Jam! xD
That was a legitimately funny video, and the guy was hilarious with his little touches and exaggerations. Makes me excited for Serious Sam.
How did I miss this? Damn it!
