The lights are on
Hot off its reveal of a sixth playable character for Borderlands 2 during its PAX East panel, Gearbox has released a teaser trailer for Krieg the Psycho. The new character will be available in May, and focuses on melee combat.
Krieg is available in the Psycho Pack, which will cost $10 and isn't included by the Borderlands 2 Season Pass. Like Borderlands 2's previous Mecromancer DLC, Krieg will feature a brand new skill tree comprised of three distinct branches for upgrading the character based on your play preference.
As we mentioned earlier, Gearbox also announced two more DLC packs during its panel. The first will increase Borderlands 2's level cap to 61 and reintroduce players to Pearlescent items (an ultra rare weapon type in the original Borderlands), which start appearing at level 51. The pack will be free to Season Pass owners, and cost $5.00 for everyone else. It will be available on April 2.
The final piece of DLC Gearbox revealed is called the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, and is designed to give players a reason to take on a third playthrough of the game. Ultimate Vault Hunter mode will also be available on April 2, and is free for everyone.

Looks interesting, but I'm not sure I want to pay $10 for another character. I already blew all my money on the game and the season pass itself and I've got three more games coming out very soon that I need to save up for.
So sick of defiance adds.
gearbox is screwing up their dlc just like COD: BO2. I bought hardened and got a season pass. You could get it all another cheaper way.
I really need to buy this game.
$10 for a character? That seems kind of steep, especially since they have a season pass, and this isn't part of it.
Honestly the idea of yet another character is saddening to me, I used to love Borderlands 2 but not anymore. There is no need ( in my humble opinion) for a psycho character. Are there not enough tanky characters in this game? But I guess it all comes down to making money and bringing on more fans. Makes me glad I play much better games like Skyrim and Alan Wake.
have you guys ever thought about why some many games are unpopuar? innovation is key to game development, take age of wushu for instance, unique gameplays and hundreds of skills without the burden of leveling. hell the skills in there could take on bruce lee. lol.
