PlayStation 3 Skyrim DLCs Get Specific Release Dates

We knew the PlayStation 3 versions of Skyrim's Dragonborn, Hearthfire, and Dawnguard DLCs were coming this month, but now we know the exact dates.

Dragonborn is up first with a February 12 release date, followed by Hearthfire on February 19, and Dawnguard on February 26. PlayStation 3 players may have had to wait a little longer than necessary, but at least they're getting them all back to back.

All three DLCs will be on sale for 50% off during the first week of release.

  • 50% off eh. Sounds enticing. It's weird that we're getting Dragonborn twice though and not Hearthfire. Might want to correct that typo Kyle.
  • Hate to pull the "is anyone still playing this?" card, but, there it is.
  • %50 off? I feel like that's a pretty fair way to compensate the delay, and to show my appreciation I think I'll pick up at least one of these. Probably Dragonborn. Thanks Bethesda!
  • Doesn't change the fact that the PS3 version of the game is the worst version put out by Bethesda
  • I've waited this long, I may as well hold out for the GOTY edition which will most likley appear, and get the DLC free :)

  • WOW!!! NICE!!! ITS ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME!!! :D

  • "Dragonborn is up first with a February 12 releae date, followed by Dragonborn on February 19" Lolwut?
  • Correct it, Kyle!!  Which one is which?!  Is Dragonborn on the 12th or 19th?? :p

  • Come on kyle....A typo is bad enough, but when it makes the whole article mostly irrelevant....*sigh*
  • Two dragonborn dlcs. Seems crazy.

  • Maybe now PS3 idiots will stop crying. Ah who am I kidding, of course they wont.
  • Now I have to decide whether or not I actually want to get the DLC, even though they're half-off for only a week. I put down Skyrim over a year ago and while it would probably be nice to go back, I've got other things to play.
  • i'll be buying Dragonborn and Dawnguard. Hearthfire doesn't appeal to me. i don't own land in my game of Skyrim; never had a desire to do so.

  • Is this a subtle "F U" message from Bethesda? I'm glad this pile of DLC is finally here, but why release each of them on a different week instead of all at once? Because if you wanted to wait and buy them all at the same time you cannot get the others for 50% off.

"Sorry you PS3 owners had to wait so long. Okay, no we're not. Here's the wack ass release dates for our DLC. If you don't pick them up in a week you will be charged full price." - Sincerely, Bethesda.
  • I guess 50% off is nice but it doesn't make up for the excruciating wait.

  • To little, to late in my opinion. My trust in Bthesda has been shaken.
  • dude they should be 50% off period i mean making us wait thing long its just stupid -.-"
  • Are you serious? lol thanks god I have a xbox 360 too, I just recommend to pay all system by saving a bit of money each time for occasion like this. though at this point might as well start saving money for the newer consoles that will come out in a year or 2.
  • I'm just glad that we're finally getting this. I actually don't mind too much that they were delayed so much since I wouldn't have been able to play them because of school anyways. I haven't played Skyrim since getting the Platinum Trophy in June, so this will be a great excuse to start playing it again (I might even start a new character, since my current profile is in god-mode)

  • A bit too late for PS3 owners, but better than nothing. If you're a true fan of the Elder Scrolls series and for some reason don't own a PC, then by all means, Dawnguard is a lot of fun.

I am waiting for the release of Dragonborn myself.
