Skyrim's DLC Finally Dated For PlayStation 3

After a long wait PlayStation 3 Skyrim players can finally look forward to DLC... one year and three months after the game released.

According to Bethesda's blog, Dragonborn will be arriving next month, followed by Hearthfire, and Dawnguard. All of the add-ons should be available next month. Along with the DLC, Skyrim's 1.8 patch will release prior to Dragonborn. As a sort of apology for the delay, all of the DLC will be half-off during its first week of release.

Bethesda also announced that Dragonborn will also be available on PC via Steam on February 5.

  • Yes!

  • Well about ***** time!!!
  • After a very long wait.

  • That's not a very specific date...

  • Cool I need to finish dawnguard on Xbox I sided with the vammpire but I don't like the limitations

  • Imagine all the people...playing Dawnguard in peace...yoo hooo oohhh

  • even though i play on the premium console xbox 360 ( opinion ) i think its really f uped the way they did playstation owners thats why i'm sick of all this system exclusive mularkey xbox players should be able to play games like drake uncharted and playstation guys should have the chance to play games like halo its just stupid.
  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I think it's way too late.
  • About time. I've been waiting to play this Dragonborn DLC on my PC for a while now.
  • I just hope this means that the next DLC won't be another 30 day 360 exclusive. (Spoilers: It will be.)
  • I won't be buying this. I have lost interest in Skyrim now. It's a great game, but it has been more than a year since the game released. I just don't care anymore.
  • Releasing early dlc on Xbox and screwing PC and PS3 gamers is going to cost Bethesda sales. It definitely cost them brand loyalty.
  • Hopefully this will bring out a GOTY/Ultimate edition for PS3. Which is when I will buy it.
  • Does the phrase "took you long enough" still hold merit here? I am just happy that we at least have a time frame to look forward to. The only thing that could make this better is an actually date. :)

  • February 5 it is, then. I've been waiting anxiously for this. Oh, and finally some justice for PS3 players, so I am happy for them. Too bad the damage has already been done, and they'll probably never see Dawnguard (which does have its moments, regardless of how short it is). *2x EDIT* Actually, they will get to play Dawnguard on PS3. Nice.

    *EDIT*

Bet you 10 bucks history will repeat itself and we'll get the same buggy release as on the Xbox. Todd Howard couldn't care less.

Thank goodness! Kudos to Bethesda for their tireless work, and for the discount (though considering the magnitude of this fail, I honestly was expecting more).
  • Finnaly!!! I'm surprised we didn't get a better deal on Dawnguard and Hearthfire though.
