Why straight into the next numbered installment? 2143 would have been more interesting, and feel less rushed than into a full fledged sequel. BC3 however should be left for next gen consoles, as the first BC games were for DICE to get used to the hardware before releasing BF3, the same should be done seeing the new consoles on the horizon. It just seems logic.

I feel like EA's rushing this game. With the annual shooter thing that they're doing, I just dunno' if DICE has enough time to deliver with this. Nevertheless, I'm excited, but I just hope DICE can take their time.

EDIT: I'd actually imagine they'd save BF4 for the next-gen Frostbite 3.0 engine. Bad Company 3 makes more sense.

No, goddamnit! I'm still having fun with BF3, I really don't want to pay another 60 some odd dollars for another game, just so I can keep up! I could easily wait another two years for a new BF game.

BF2 and BF3 were so far apart, BF4 coming so soon just feels wrong.

And I look forward to whatever it is they show/announce but I do hope that they don't try and rush the game to compete with CoD.

Bad Company3 would've been a lot better. Not in a hurry to play another BF game(unless it's a Bad Company game). Still enjoying BF3 for the most part.

I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed that EA is pushing for BF4 so soon.  I wished that the main numbered entries would be released with a new engine, and they could release some side stuff in between.   I liked the Bad Company games, 2142, and 1943.

Personally, I can't wait. I think it's still a bit early to say anything as DLC is still coming for BF3. I just hope BF4 won't get close quarter combat that many BF fans dislike. Keep maps super big and don't try to compete with CoD. Originality is far better than a clone of another game.
