Lego Maniacs Launching Annual Vic Viper Fleet
Lego fans are assembling en masse to assemble another fleet of Vic Vipers. The builders are posting pics of their interpretations of the Gradius ship in what's become an annual November tradition.
The ships are being created in memory of a Lego community member, Nate "nnenn" Nielson, who died in a car accident. The rules are simple, as you can see in the handy reference guide below. Check out the official Flickr group to submit your own creations or to check out what other builders are doing. Last year's fleet was pretty impressive, so you may want to take a little time with your ship before revealing it to the world at large.
The event, known as Nnovvember, certainly beats growing an ironic mustache.
