Sony Is Working With Bethesda To Bring Dawnguard To PS3

The fate of Skyrim's DLC on PlayStation 3 has been... ambiguous, to be polite. Sony recognizes this and is, "trying their best to get this stuff working."

In an interview with Kotaku, Sony's VP Adam Boyes had a few encouraging words to say about the whole situation.

"We work with all of our partners to try and solve their problems. We have a big, broad dev support team that works closely with Bethesda—and with all of our partners—to work with them to solve that any sort of issues they have along the way. Of course, I always want everything to work always for everyone. I can't promise any kind of resolution or timeline but can say that everyone involved is trying their best to get this stuff working."

It's no guarantee, but Sony and Bethesda are working on the issue.

    Maybe Bethesda should focus on making their games less of a *** port to the PS3 and Sony might consider it.

    good. hopefully people can finally shut up once sony announces that its their "fault" with their hardware that is causing so many problems for bethesda, as opposed to crapping on the guys who have been trying to get this dlc as well as "future content" out on the ps3 the entire time.

    Sucks, such a great game. I know i said this before but does anyone know were i can get a cheap ps3 besides ebay and craigslist, i have an xbox but i want to play uncharted and other exclusives.

    I would be quite disappointed and annoyed with Bethesda if they could not get this on PS3. :/

    Maybe Sony could have the fine folks at Naughty Dog or Sony Santa Monica lend a programming assistance on this one.

    The PS3 has given me problems from the very beginning. XBOX is a far sounder system.

    Thank you bethesda and Sony for letting us know before November 11, 2011 that we ps3 users were buying an unfinished inferior version of a game.

    Sad as it is, this is why I traded in Skyrim for PS3 to get it on my Xbox. The exclusives weren't so bad at first, but when they said it was up in the air whether or not it'd come to PS3 that's when I traded it in. So far I'm enjoying Dawnguard and the newest DLC.

    They've been saying that they're working with eachother to try and bring us "the best possible experience" but they better bring the DLC soon or TES fans are gonna be pissed

    I have a 360 haven't played this DLC yet...heard great things however...hopefully PS3 players will be able to play this and any future dlc for skyrim...

    I'm a PC gamer so I can relate to people who are missing out because of these issues. I hope they can get it to work!

    Man, I Bugthesta should hire profesional for their programming team, they always have bugs and bugs, and they don't even know how to work on the PS3 and is no surprise they are not planning any game for the win u,u they are a mess. I am glad Sony took over to clean their mess.
