GI's In-House Poet Is Back, With More Amazing Haiku

by Jeff Cork on Sep 03, 2012 at 05:12 AM

If there's one thing I like, it's playing video games. If there's 350 things I like, composing haiku makes the cut. I've written beautiful poems based on the last 10 games I've played. Read them or something!

Go here and here for more amazing haiku after you've fully absorbed these (it may take a while; be patient).

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
Oh boy. Transformers.
Surprise! It’s actually good!
The fans still scare me.

Tiny Tower
This isn’t gameplay.
Passing time, tapping on stores.
What am I doing?

Fable Heroes
My first reaction:
This isn’t really that bad.
Then I kept playing.

Shadows of the Damned
Resident Evil
With a story that makes sense.
Also, wiener jokes.

Guess Who?
Yeah, it’s a board game.
If I ever get Bill’s face,
Please just let me die

Darksiders 2
Death as an escort?
Oh. Karn is stuck in the wall.
Wait for a patch? Nope.

Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure
A word of advice:
Force your kids to pick these up
Or you’ll have sore feet

The Walking Dead
Wait, I like that dude
But this other dude doesn’t.
One dude’s gonna die.

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
Didn’t I play this
Back when it was called Star Wars?
Yeah, the more things change…

Pinball Arcade
Before you buy it,
Are you playing on Xbox?
Punch your face instead.
