The lights are on
The creative minds behind Kingdoms of Amalur are now working with the creators of Gears of War. Epic has announced the formation of Impossible Studios, which brings together top industry minds, including the creative director Sean Dunn and much of the talent from the now defunct Big Huge Games. Impossible Studios joins the Epic family, bringing with them a history of making RTS and RPG games.
The first title to be released under the Impossible name will be Infinity Blade: Dungeons, a sequel to the wildly popular iOS game, Infinity Blade. Epic has described Impossible Studios as an all-star team of veteran game development talent. It will be exciting to see what they come up with in conjunction with Epic games.
Good for them, they are really talented and I would like to see another RPG developed by them.
This is great news, really happy these guys found a new home. Hope everything works out for them in the long run.
Always good news when devs get their jobs back, i'm happy for them.
Now Chair can get their happy ass started on Shadow Complex 2 and let them worry about Infinity Blade.
Glad this happened. I really like the name.
Epic should buy Kingdoms of Amalur.
Hope it's not impossible for them to keep churning out good games. . . (lol)
So they buy a company of veteran game designers with experience making RPGs and RTSs and set them to work on a iOS game? This seems wrong to me.
Hopefully KOA2 gets made now.
Im calling it, Gears RPG.
I also hope that Epic buys Kingdoms of Amalur. That game was amazing! liked it a whole lot better than Skyrim (battle system was part god of war part fable) and the enemy designs were pretty good too. I also liked that they weren't afraid to use colors. Many games these days go for a brown and brown look... they call it realistic. I don't play games for realism, guys. It helps certain kinds of games, like Fallout or (as much as i hate to give credit to a COD game) call of Duty, but for the most part. i want to see something new.
I was hoping they had a bigger pic of that bear with wings in here.
So now Epic can give Rhode Island and call and buy the rights to KoA:R.
THis seems very good. Nice to see them have jobs again
