The lights are on
Ipad users can now connect to their Xbox 360 and control some of the systems features. The app was made available last month for iPhone. The app basically turns your iPad or iPhone into a remote control. You can browse the dashboard, play, pause, fast forward and rewind certain media. You can also browse and add Xbox Live friends, check out your 3D avatar, and see your achievements.
It's free to download here.
Cool i guess ,just as long those are the only features.
Already updated it! It's a nice little app, albeit pretty unnecessary considering the regular controller works a little nicer, and the actual media remote for 360 is much more convenient, but it's a neat little thing to show to friends.
I didn't even know there was one.
Well, that's neat.
Hey! They used my news tip! Woo!
I like the app and all but I'm just going to continue to use my controller.
OR... use your xbox 360 controller?
I just downloaded it and it is amazing. I find it usefull in the sense because my controller turns off after 20 minutes on non activity. It much easier to use this then turn on the controller after every episode of sports night or futurama, and better for batteries too. Plus I can look at all my achievements on the go.
Xbox?!?!?! www.youtube.com/watch
This has been out for a while. But still cool.
This is a supportive sign of Microsoft is doing what best for Apple.
Awesome I'm downloading now.
Can't you sign into Xbox.com and get similar results?
Seeing as people can just use their control to do use things I don't see this as all that great.
I was able to download this app on my iPad the day I d/l it for my phone. I guess this is a hefty update to differentiate the two? Would be kind of cool if you could use those features on the phone as well though. The iPhone version is just kind of a database more than utility.
How about improving the Android Xbox app?
