The lights are on
A new update to the official Xbox Live app for the iPhone and iPad allows users to connect and control their Xbox 360.
The free update allows you to play movies, start games, and launch apps on your console directly from your device. Check out the free app linked below if you haven't already. A version of the app also launched for certain Android devices. Sound off in the comments if you try it out.
Trying this out will be the first thing I do when I get home from work. Hope it works well.
I'll try it
Wow, that's pretty cool.
Not sure what makes this useful...I don't ever need to turn my console on remotely. If I'm in the same room and want to turn on my console to watch a movie or something I'll just use the controller that can also turn it on and is always within arms reach from my couch. The article says it can start games, but don't you need a controller to play a game anyway? Outside of a possible security issue in case someone steals my phone, I must be missing what this really adds.
Already had it befor I read this
