The lights are on
InXile Entertainment is putting all that extra Kickstarter money to good use, packaging the original 1987 Wasteland game in with the upcoming sequel."The #1 request we had during our Kickstarter campaign was to have the ability to play the first game. Fortunately EA has continued to support us on this project and has granted us the ability to bring the original to the players," said inXile Entertainment's Brian Fargo in a statement.
"It is great to be able to make Wasteland available for those feeling nostalgic or who want to experience it for the first time. It certainly will not be a pre-requisite to understand Wasteland 2, but it adds some extra flavor if you did play the prequel."Any Wasteland fans out there excited about this news?

I packed this projecy up with 100$, so you bet I'm excited!
Oh, there's also some new Shadowrun Returns concept art if anyone else is interested =.
This is great news! I've wanted to play this game for a while now :)
I tried playing the original on an online emulator, but I couldn't get it to run any farther than the opening sequence. Glad to know that I'll get another go at it.
I am extremely excited for this game. Definitely on the top of my list for next year.
Just dont buy it from EA's Origin store ok guys? There are plenty of other (more deserving)places to get it from.
The concept art brought me to this page. COOL.
I need to play more games like this. I believe young people can enjoy such an old game, even if they weren't there when a game came out, we can get a sense of a game's place in history and enjoy it for the values it had back in it's day. You just have to reacquaint yourself with a simpler time.
Fallout is based from this game
I hope they make it that it doesn't require DOSbox to run. DOS was a real pain in the ass.
I need a gaming PC.
