The lights are on
Update: The Xbox Live version of Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 will now come out at a later, undisclosed date due.
The delay is due to a memory card issue that occurs when you pull the MU out while it's saving (who does that, anyway?).
The PC/Steam version will still come out June 25th.
Original Story: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 is coming to Steam and Xbox Live Arcade later this month. Here's a look at the game's first trailer.
On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 is a 16 bit throwback to the turn based games of yesteryear, such as Final Fantasy V. It will retail for $4.99 on Stream and 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live, and promises to bring with it that well known, Penny Arcade sense of style and fun.
Well ok theres that
to people who were big fans of RPGs on like NES and SNES will really like this, I may pick it up for steam, since we can get a free game too :3
Woah, woah, woah--you get Cthulu Saves the World, too? Good ol' Zeboyd... I do like Penny-Arcade, and I've heard VERY good things about the developer. I'll have to pick up this game.
These guys made cthulu and breath of death=INSTANT BUY
I approve of this. I already have Cthulu Saves the World, but oh well! This is exciting!
I've really been wanting an old school rpg:)
No PSN? Looks okay but I wouldn't get it.
Love the art style
I wonder if they'll step it up to N64 next time? They could make a *** Conquers Bad Fur Day rip off.
Cannot wait for this.
This is going to be amazing. The Z boys make great games, and I love me so PA in an almost unhealthy way. No wrongs here.
Love me some 16-bit homage! Looks really cool!
I probably won't be able to even get this game, but "On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness" sounds really awesome for a title for a book, movie and everything!
Zeboyd's other games have been pretty fun. I'll probably check this out.
