The lights are on
The rumors were true. Microsoft today confirmed a $99 subscription-based console available at its U.S. stores. In order to redeem the deal, you must bring the coupon seen here to a participating Microsoft store.
The deal requires customers to sign up for a 2-year subscription to Xbox Live Gold at $14.99 per month. The console is a 4GB Xbox 360 and includes Kinect.
Early termination fees apply, which you can read about here.
Maybe it could be to combat the used system market.... because a common consumer would be more likely to buy a new $99 system with the montly fees instead of a like I dunno $100+ used system at let's say Gamestop...
a one year account only costs 60 bucks why should we b locked into a two year contract that costs $359.76. once you buy it your loced in and if you quit early they make you pay anyway. that sucks.
RIPOFF!!!!! NO NO NO
Don't they milk us for enough money. 2-year contract with a cancellation fee. They sound more like a wireless provider than anything else.
I herd about this many many times. I already got an xbox 360 with 250 GB along with a kinect. Got it separately. But good to hear it that it finally showed up here.
Actually seems like a really good deal considering the price. Especially since the price of Xbox live went up definitely worth it.
C'mon Man? whose stupid idea is this? if you u ask for $10.00 monthly for 24month with xbox live monthly subscription you guys still make money and i know its going to be a big sell
after 2 years do you still have 2 pay the gold subscription at 15 bucks a month? or can they drop to a regular gold sub?
This deal appears to only be available at Microsoft stores. There are only 22 stores in the US and none of them are anywhere near me.
Yeah I don't know, I think if it had more memory it would be a good deal but...
