The lights are on
The rumors were that Exile was supposed to be a Gears of War title that would take advantage of the Kinect, but Cliff Bleszinski recently told GameSpot that the game has definitely been cancelled.
Bleszinski said, "let's just bury the hatchet now. Gears of War: Exile was an unannounced game that I can't give any details about that has since been cancelled."
Technically the game was never officially announced by Epic. A trademark for Gears of War: Exile was filed by Epic early last year , and that's how it was discovered.

Never played Gears of War, but even i know such a good franchise shouldn't be spoiled by a kinect game.

NOW THAT'S A DAMN SHAME...
Thank God! Gears of War does NOT belong on Kinect. I'd much rather see resources spent on a next-gen Gears game or more Gears 3 DLC.

A Gears of War game with Kinect? Ugh.
It's always a shame when a game gets canceled before details are even released. Now we won't even know if it turned out to be a quality game, in spite of having to use Kinect to control it.
This is probably for the better, I love GOW and have kinect, but combining the two would suck, kinect hasn't added much to any games, the only time I've use it is in ME3 for voice commands
