Battlefield 3 Sales Reach 10 Million

Battlefield 3 and FIFA 12 each sold more than 10 million units, EA said today.

Additionally, Madden NFL 12 has sold almost 5 million units life-to-date. EA announced in November Battlefield 3 has sold 8 million copies and shipped 12 million.

The publisher said Origin, its digital retail service, has 9.3 million registered consumers and generated more than $100 million in revenue in 2011.

Battlefield 3 was a pretty good game. Didn't quite fill my heart with joy like Bad Company 2, but it was still pretty good. I'm glad DICE is getting good sales.

I love the classic maps as DLC, these are maps that made great shooters. I have enjoyed most of the moments of this game. its one of the few games that keeps the dust off my xbox now-a-days

I was just wondering about this, I figured it had to reach 10m by now. I'm still loving BF3 to this day at as 7th Rank Colonel.

If BF "kills" CoD in gameplay in my opinion, doesn't that technically make it a "CoD Killer"? :trollface:

I like the game but hate they way they advertised it. They used pc footage and didn't bother putting any indication it's pc footage but putting the console logos at the end, rather devious imo.
