If Dark Souls Was Made For The NES

This year's excellent action-RPG Dark Souls felt sort of like an old-school NES game in terms of its brutal difficulty. Now thanks to a mystery package that showed up in the Game Informer office, it's even easier to imagine this team-up having existed.

This awesome fake NES cartridge comes via 72 Pins and was sent to GI's resident Dark Souls fanatics -- Andrew Reiner, Jim Reilly, and myself. In addition to the image on front pictured above, there's also a some hilarious warnings on the back. Check it out:
