New Xbox Live Gamertag Born Every Two Seconds
According to Xbox Live head of marketing Robin Burrowes, Microsoft's online service has continued to grow in popularity to the point that it now has a new user register every two seconds.
Speaking at the London Games Conference, Burrowes also bragged that Xbox Live has topped 35 million users as of the end of last year. Burrowes attributed the growth to additions such as Facebook, Twitter, and the European Sky Player, as well as huge online games like Modern Warfare 2.
Fun and very impressive numbers, though it's worth noting that Burrowes does not clarify how many of these Xbox Live users are paying Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
