First Look At BioWare's New Franchise

Here is the first image of Bioware's new, unannounced project, set for reveal at the Video Game Awards show next month.

The image reveals a fantastic-looking collision in a desert setting. Like what you see? Click below for an expanded view. We'll be posting the first screenshot of the next Alan Wake game later this afternoon.

The Video Game Awards show airs on Saturday, December 10 on Spike TV, MTV2 and Spike.com at 8:00 p.m. EST.

  • who gives a *** gaminformer we want more news about gtav
  • anything bioware is like gold, cant wait.
  • Please dont be a combat racer like Twisted Metal. Stick with what's working for you. Just create a different universe and plot line
  • Looks weird for a BioWare game....

  • ***, gotta wait a whole month to figure out what this is? I wonder what this means for a Dragon Age 3?
  • I'm honestly disappointed because this is most definitely not Jade Empire 2 and that's what I want from Bioware. It sucks that their next project couldn't be JE2.
  • Uncharted + RAGE + BioWare = FANTASTIMAZING

  • Hooray, I called new IP!  Hopefully it's not a RPG.  Bioware kills it at making RPGs, I'd like to see them try their hand at a different genre.

  • never forget that rpg players putted bioware on the map.the screeshot looks interesting though.lets wait and see.

  • I say post apocalypse rpg. Wait hasn't that been done before? Unless they are going to the desert and making a modern day spy rpg in the desert. Wait hasn't that been done before? Need more information.

  • Anyone else see the "gameinformer" logo in the bottom corner.  I think this is the next cover.

  • hmm...not sure how i feel about post apocalyptic because it is such a "trend" right now. However, maybe the picture is completely misleading. I'd like to see something completely new and different. But, since it's BioWare, maybe they'll refine the genre in a new and different way.

  • That guy in the picture doesn't look like he is having fun

  • Meh... Not enough to form an opinion, hope it's something different.

  • Just a teaser...maybe a post-apocalyptic game? well if bioware's making it, it's gonna be good.

  • Cant really tell what the heck this is about, but its too funny after borderlands and FNV loads of people are trying to capture desert style apoca setting. Or the whole after bioshock, FNV and borderlands kinda low tech-retro-hightech feeling about a world becoming popular, but if they dont have a rich world the failing on the depth will ruin it, FNV and Borderlands seem to nail it, whilst rage failed miserable on depth.

  • Rage?

  • It's a safe bet Bioware's next game is an RPG, but it's hard to tell from one image if it's a modern day setting or a post-apocalypse setting. Any which way I will be egarly anticipating the debut trailer.

  • i got nothing

  • Last time BioWare experimented with this setting its result was... Dragon Age II... But, it's heart-warming to see that BioWare is working on a new IP. I was worried that they were so narrow-minded on the idea of just sticking with Dragon Age and Mass Effect. It's about time they have something new coming around the corner.
