The lights are on
The latest entry in Ubisoft's tactical Tom Clancy shooter series finally has a release date.
After two official delays and a long period of hibernation, the Ghosts are finally emerging from their stealth cloaks early next year. GameSpot noticed the March 6 release date listed on several retail sites, then Joystiq reached out to Ubisoft and confirmed the date.
If you want to get your hands on the revamped shooter before March, those who purchased Splinter Cell: Conviction can participate in the multiplayer beta in January. Until then, check out our latest impressions of the game from E3.

I'll believe it when I see it.
Oh yeah, been waiting so long... About *** time..
So great to hear. I've been anticipating this ever since they showed it at E3 two years ago. Definite birthday present this year. The only problem is that it's happened before where they pushed back the date. Hopefully this is final and wont be changed again
...Only to be delayed until 2012 next year. Just kidding, I want to get back to shooting the Mexican Army. Advanced War fighter was a ton of fun, can't wait for this!
I am looking forward to this game.
Let's Wait & See What Ubisoft Is Going To Make With the PC version...

Hope the extra time paid off.... Looking forward to a tactical 3PS.
Thats cool cant wait
Hm interesting, can't wait!
I can't wait for single player
Been a while since I heard about this game. the realistically futuristic aspect of it interested me.
The original trailer and the E3 footage were all very impressive so I'm quite eager to see how it turns out, despite never playing any of the previous games.
