Madden NFL 12 Predicts The Regular Season

by Matthew Kato on Sep 06, 2011 at 05:28 AM

EA Sports has used Madden NFL 12 to sim the NFL regular season, and the list of division leaders and stat monsters is your usual list of suspects.

The game predicts that in the NFC the Packers, Saints, Eagles, and Rams will win their divisions, while in the AFC the Steelers, Patriots, Colts, and Chargers win theirs. That leaves the Lions (9-7) and Falcons (11-5, featuring the league's leading receiver, Roddy White with 113 receptions for 1,350 yards and 16 TDs) as the wildcards in the NFC, while the Jets and Ravens (10-6) also grab the last playoff seeds in the AFC.

Stay tuned for later in the NFL season for EA Sports' playoff predictions using the game.

NFL 2011 Season Awards (as simulated by Madden NFL 12):
• NFL MVP – Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles
• Offensive Player of the Year – Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons
• Defensive Player of the Year – Clay Matthews, Green Bay Packers
• Offensive Rookie of the Year – Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints
• Defensive Rookie of the Year – Patrick Peterson, Arizona Cardinals
• Coach of the Year – Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh Steelers
