The lights are on
Ignore this if you've already done your part to fill Activision's coffers through digital sales, but anyone behind the times can catch up for significantly less investment this week.Seemingly all the map packs for all older current-gen Call of Duty games – Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2, and World at War – are half price on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, going on sale for $5 and $7.49 instead of their original $10/$15 costs.Call of Duty Classic, the downloadable version of the very first CoD game, is half price ($7.49) as well.Sadly, Black Ops' DLC packs are left out of the sale. Not unexpected, by any means, but disappointing.Any other franchise putting old map packs on sale would be a joke – good luck finding anyone to play them with. This is Call of Duty, though, so there are still plenty of players hanging out in those older titles who will undoubtedly be appreciative of new blood.[via Destructoid]
I just have World at War and need one zombie map pack but since I didn't like de riese or the asylum one I'm not getting it.
This has been going on for two dys now.
bait and switch! was looking for some blops packs. oh well.
Well, alright then. Hello wallet! Come here boy!
I would jump on the MW2 packs.. But I fell for them when they first came out. :\
shoot. of course this happens after I've already bought them all
Just as an update to this story; as of right now these deals are on Steam as well.
Still no Black Ops, but the older stuff is half off.
Is this just this week, or forever? I may need to study CoD's roots...
