Is Bayonetta 2 Info Coming This Week? [Update: No!]

Update: According to Platinum Games' Atsushi Inaba, rumors of Bayonetta 2 info coming this week (fueled Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya) are false.

"There is no such announcement!" Inaba tweeted (as translated by Andriasang). So, Kamiya was joking/lying. After toying with fans' hopes, will anyone even believe it when/if Platinum announces Bayonetta 2 for real?

Teases about a sequel to Bayonetta are nothing new. We've seen a long list of hints from Sega and developer Platinum Games, and director Hideki Kamiya just added more fuel to the fire.

According to a tweet from Kamiya (as translated by Andriasang), we can expect to hear more about Bayonetta 2 "This week…in a gaming magazine…" This comment was made in response to a fan who simply asked about the status of the sequel.

Any news on Bayonetta 2 is good news, but after all of the previous teases, I'm ready to get some concrete info on what I can expect from a sequel.
