Assassin's Creed: Revelations Ultimate Bundle On The Way

It's a good thing that the Star Wars-themed Xbox 360 bundle has pushed to 2012. I'm a sucker for collector's editions, and it would appear that every major release hitting store shelves this year has one. At the top of my list is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Batman: Arkham City is a close second. Now, thanks to a product listing appearing on GameStop, I have to add Assassin's Creed: Revelations' Ultimate Bundle to my list of excess.

Priced at $99.99 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and $89.99 for PC, this set comes with a replica of Leonardo da Vinci's flying machine, a highly articulated Ezio action figure, and an animated short film. In-game bonus content includes a new single player mission, three weapon capacity upgrades, and an exclusive multiplayer character. I don't know if this adds up to $99.99 in value, but I really want the flying machine. Yes, I am a sucker for collectibles that I'll likely box up a year after purchase. Don't judge me.

[Full disclosure: Game Informer is owned by GameStop.]

  • I'm glad the desire for figures/statues left me long ago. Posters I like... but you never get those with your games, other than maps - which I have plenty of o.o
  • *** me...my wallet is screwed already wtf i need to save more..x( im in!!

  • Got a bookshelf that has a row just for collectibles. So for 30 bucks more, get a flying machine, Ezio, animated short film and in-game content....doesn't seem like a bad price to me
  • And I'll actually be able to get the PC version at the same time as the XBox folks! There is a god!

  • Some of a *****. Welp, my spending just increased.
  • Aw crap, I thought the flying machine was usable :( Well, I think I`ll go with Uncharted 3`s special edition.
  • I'll try to get this day one but I won't be playing for a while with Skyrim coming out four days before it.
  • Way to go PC for being $10 bucks cheaper!

  • *sigh* The dolls that developers/publishers include in Collector's Edition these days are so dumb. They don't even look good. I'm pretty they're just used to justify the $100 to $150 price tag.
  • Boss

  • Let's just hope that Game Stop doesn't take all the extras out and try to sell it as brand new.
  • Strangely I'm reminded of the power rangers when I look at that pic up top.

  • im getting this for 60 because gamestop had an awesome deal where if you preordered it in a specific time period they gave you a free upgrade to it. got it.
  • I'm a sucker for video game action figures and models so I know I'll be suckered into it.

  • Still not buying this day one.
  • I like the UK's Animus Edition much better: http://xboxoz360.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/ac-rev-le-eb.jpg
  • I would easily pay one million dollars just to get Revelations right now.

  • Looks cool. I wonder if the extra mission and weapons are the same ones I already getting with my preorder since the bonus is an upgrade to signayure edition and that looks like the same verion as far as the game goes. that would mean we would be paying $40 for the statue figure and flying machine.
  • My wallet cries while I grin.

Add this to the list with Uncharted 3 and Mass Effect 3.

  • i sooooo want that... sadly i cannot afford to spend money on plastic figurines..
