The lights are on
Microsoft and LucasArts are pushing back the release of Kinect Star Wars and the Star Wars themed Xbox 360 bundle until 2012. This new broke in an exclusive interview with OXM, where Microsoft said that the delay is to "ensure the full potential of this title is realized."
The delay isn't surprising. Each time we've played the game, we've walked away with major concerns. Our latest hands on report brought up issues with motion recognition, and Phil Kollar's E3 test run addressed potential game design flaws.
Microsoft didn't outline a new release date plan, but I wouldn't be surprised if it pushes well into 2012 to address both the motion problems and overall design of the game. Instead of delaying the bundle, I would much rather see Microsoft release the console and controller individually
