Kirby Returns To Dreamland At Long Last In October

I've been anticipating the upcoming Wii platformer Kirby's Return To Dreamland since getting my hands-on after its surprise announcement at E3. Now Nintendo has revealed a release date for its cutest mascot's latest adventure.

Joystiq reports that Kirby's Return To Dreamland (formerly known simply as Kirby Wii) will be released on October 24. This launch comes just over a year after the excellent Kirby's Epic Yarn. Let's hope Dreamland lives up to that game's wonderful pedigree.

  • Love kirby, can't wait to try this game

  • More informations, plz. Otherwise I could have an opinion based on the previous, side-scrolling Kirby games that couldn't POSSIBLY be anything like this. (I've figured out how 'Tendo's system works.)

  • I haven't used my Wii since last year, but I may actually rent this.

  • awesome this is going to be grat. Epic yarn was awesome and this pads out some of the wiis last days

  • Real men play kirby.
  • Yay!!! Oh, Kirby. it's been far too long.

  • If Kirby's Epic Yarn was amazing, then this will be incredible.

  • Sooner than I expected! Looking forward to playing this game.

  • Ultra Sword Kirby looks cool. Looking forward to playing this game.

  • Reiner and Phil play: Kirby returns to dreamland!
  • I hope it's awesome.

  • Yes!!! We got some good old fashioned Kirby in here!

  • This looks like a great game ansd can't wait to try it.

  • That's pretty short notice, hope it turns out well. I'll most likely be passing it by though for the Epic Games Onslaught of Fall 2011.
  • awesome the game is going to be super awesome. you forgot the super part.

  • My only question is why they have never gone back to the unique power combining of Kirby and the Crystal Shard.  All of the classic powers, plus the ability to combine any two powers and make a new one!  That made the game amazing.

  • The demo looked really good. This could be one of the best Kirby games in a long time.

  • super cool!!

  • too many games, so little time
