Puzzle Quest 2 Not Making It To PSP
Infinite Interactive CEO Steve Fawkner confirmed that the PSP port of Puzzle Quest 2 is canceled. Writing on his Facebook page, Fawkner said, "I won't give up hope entirely, but at the moment, in all honesty, it is unlikely to happen."
Fawkner absolved his new parent company EA of any responsibilities for the cancellation, saying, "This is just a very unfortunate logistical problem where key people are no longer available to work on it." At the same time, apparently PQ2 on PSP "literally had ONE sound bug remaining to be fixed, and it would have been good to go."
Sad news for all you PSP types out there, but to be honest I recommend another playthrough of the original rather than the sequel anyway – as Matt Miller's and my full review of the existing versions of Puzzle Quest 2 explains.
