The lights are on
Originally set to release later this month, it now seems that El Shaddai may be arriving a bit later than scheduled. The quirky Ignition title is now listed by both Gamestop and Amazon as arriving on August 16th.
Not an official delay yet, but we'll update if Ignition speaks on the matter.

That game looks pretty trippy if you ask me. A shame it might be delayed though.
So is the review moved as well?
If true I think this is a bad idea. The closer this game gets to the relase dates of games like skyrim, uncharted, and gears the less likely people will take a chance on such a quirky stylish game.
Doh! I'm really waiting on this one!
This could be good for me since my PS3 is currently being repaired...but also good cause Catherine was coming out that same day and I was going to need a japanese game fix for sure and i know i couldnt afford both at the time!
Looks like fun, shame it's coming in late.
The demo was alright. Was kind of difficult to tell where your character was going to land after jumping, or what was a solid platform to land on, though.
I hope not it was going to be perfect with both Catherine and El Shaddai coming out on the same day as well as Angel Beats coming out on DVD.
At least I don't have to choose what to play first I guess...still sucks if true.
Disappointed that it's been pushed back to August. On the plus side, it gives Catherine free reign to own the week of July 26th. On the negative side, the closer El Shaddai comes to the release of newer, well-marketed titles, it could go under the radar. I will definitely buy it, although the $60 price point may be too much for me.
thank you.
i hope it doesent get delayed, i was going to get this and catherine on the same day :(
I was quite saddened by the core mechanics of this game... such a shame the unique art is being utilized (read: squandered) in this way
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
