Sizable Content Left Off Of L.A. Noire Disc?

We're all looking forward to sinking our teeth into Team Bondi and Rockstar Game's period world of L.A. Noire when it comes out on March 17, but is there even more content available?

In an interview with 1Up, Team Bondi founder Brendan McNamara says that two whole desks were left out of the retail copy of the game – Burglary and Bunko (fraud). The game structures its missions around specific desks within the LAPD such as traffic, homicide, vice, etc. Although McNamara doesn't mention the two desks as DLC, it's not hard to imagine the content being offered that way sometime in the future. Perhaps we'll even see a separate disc release for Burglary and Bunko like Rockstar has done in the past for GTA IV with Episodes From Liberty City.

    With three discs for the 360, I can understand that. However, I would be sad to see it released as DLC later on, and it's actually still on the disc.

    Always burns me to know they have the content ready for the game but they don't include it, just so they can squeeze a few extra dimes out of us down the road. Our $60 a piece isn't enough for you???

    Something tells me that this game is going to recieve more single player support(in the way of dlc's) than Red Dead has, and that possibility both excites/saddens me.

    i'll remember this if I finish all the content to 100% completion in less than 25 hours. I work fast too. God *** DLC. It is a blessing and a curse.

    For everyone complaing about being ripped off, try reading the original article.  This isn't finished content that was cut out, it's stuff that never even made it into the game.

    I'm beginning to think this is a sneaky way for developers and publishers to cover the increasing cost of making a game without directly raising the price of the game.

    Bad News Bears! I've only got like 600mb left on my hard drive, and that's after I have deleted a ton of things! I should really probably upgrade, huh everybody? 20gb hard drives are such a joke!

    They already have 3 disks of content, so I understand them doing this. Focusing on polish is always more important than MORE quests. This game is already going to be massive.

    They probably could have put it on the PS3 version, but didn't because it wouldn't fit on the XBOX version. So, they wanted to be fair to everyone.

    regardless, this game is going to get lots of dlc....only makes sense, it'll be popular.
