Super Meat Boy Level Editor Arrives

As previously promised, a level editor for Super Meat Boy has been released for the PC version of Team Meat's challenging platformer.

The level editor is available in a free update to Super Meat Boy that's on Steam now. Users will be able to create levels just as complex as anything from the game (minus bosses and warp zones) and then upload them. If you want to play and rate other users' creations, you can access them via a new "Super Meat World" option in the game.

Team Meat promises to pick out the best user-created levels and highlight them in the future, so sadistic level designers should get to work.

  • B$%ch better have my honey..

  • i dont play much pc as i use to but a little far fetched for me

  • PC?!??!?!?1?!?!?!?!?!? ....................Cool.

  • I wish they would put out a level editor for consoles as well. I mean, its usually easier doing this stuff on PC but I'd get back into SMB if they released the level editor on the consoles.
  • didnt like this game but thats cool for people who have it

  • Awesome! I've been waiting for this. I've yet to just finish single player (let alone 100%, even on World 1), but it is a little sadistic pleasure of mine.

  • I look forward to frustrating people. MUHAHAHAHA

  • Can't wait to see the insanely difficult stages that will come from the community
  • As of this moment, I am now interested in SMB.

  • I love Super Meat Boy but I haven't finished it yet. I am on the second to last level. I sort of have to sedate myself with weed when I play it otherwise I get too pissed off and quit too early. Only 2 levels away from completion. I probably will give the level editor a miss though. I don't play platformers on my PC much.
  • I just bought the Ultra Ed. after already buying the 360 version so this is good news!

  • Awesome! That means I can kill myself on this brutally tough game forever!!!

  • I can't wait to play with this! :3

  • Steam has everyone's attention since, well, forever.

First Portal, and now SMB. Really cool!

  • That's awesome!  It's a la little big planet
