The lights are on
It looks like the assumed April Fool's prank is becoming a reality. Bit.Trip Saga is headed to 3DS this summer with all of your favorite very hard games bundled in one big package.
Original developer Gaijin Games is handling the port and Aksys Games will publish. For those unfamiliar with the franchise, it's a six-part, pixelated, saga with a wide variety of gameplay types for each entry. Check out Gaijin Games' YouTube channel to get a taste of all the titles in action.
Here's a video of the latest entry, Bit.Trip Flux.

Cool. Bit.Trip was actually the only game I enjoyed on wiiware.
io have the demo of beat and this looks awesome
I guess that is two games I will be waiting to get because they are being remade for the 3DS. (Cave story and Bit.Trip)
Sweet!! Along with Cave Story, this was one of my favorites on wiiware
This looks like a great way to experience these games. Awesome!
Would love to see a release on XBLA and/or PSN. I don't see the 3ds in my near future.
Wow, cave story and bit.trip! What's next, fluidity? (hint, hint)
Cool, I'd much rather buy these games for the first time on my 3DS than on my Wii.
This is a game that I will consider getting...no promises though.
Yes! This is exactly what I was hoping for. I can't wait. :D
I love how the 3DS is getting WiiWare titles I otherwise wouldn't have gotten to play (though I actually played a bit of Cave Story on my computer).
Maybe they should start doing whole Wii games (if possible). Or actually, just Muramasa. Can we get that on SOME console other than the Wii? I'd really like to play it.
cool
I LOVE BIT.TRIP! It makes me so frustrated, but then I remind myself that it's actually my fault for not doing it correctly. So...good for Gaijin!
I love this kind of thing--having a physical collection of normally downloadable stuff. It gives the game(s) longevity. Plus, I simply like having physical copies of my stuff, including Konami Classics I and Qubed on the Xbox360.
Now, if only Konami would take this idea, and their Konami Classics ideas and mash them together with the WiiWare ReBirth games released together for the 3DS. Contra, Castlevania, and Gradius ReBirth collection please!
This will be entertaining.
My eyes hurt when I play BIT.TRIP BEAT on a 23inch 1920x1080 screen, cant imagine playing it on a tiny screen like that.
I do love the game but this just seems like a bad platform for it in my opinion.
Bit.Trip on any system is fine with me!
