Dead Space 2's 'Severed' DLC Gets Release Date, Trailer

You've read the announcement, you've gawked at the screens, and now one of the only questions remaining is when Dead Space 2's first DLC will be available. EA and Visceral have given an official release date for the Dead Space 2: Severed DLC, in addition to a new trailer for the add-on.

You'll be able to further explore security officer Gabe Weller's story when Severed launches March 1 for $6.99/560 Microsoft Points. You may remember Weller from Dead Space Extraction. Or not. Either way, in a week you'll have plenty of time to get to know him, through two all-new single-player chapters.

    SCHWEET! I'll be picking that up on March 1st! Sad that its only 2 chapters, maybe more parts will be coming out afterwards. One can only hope. I CAN"T GET ENOUGH DEAD SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Awesome trailer. I'm actually playing Dead Space: Extraction (on the PS3) right now and so far its very good. I know I'll have to beat it before I get Severed.
