Dragon Age Redemption Teaser Trailer Debuts

Felicia Day appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to talk about her six-episode Dragon Age miniseries and show off the following trailer.

Electronic Arts announced the project earlier this week, but now we can finally get an idea of what it will look like. There's going to be plenty of scampering through the forest, that's for sure!

  • Meh.
  • Don't really care for the game but, man, she's pretty.
  • I wonder if these will end up on Netflix to watch instant. I had heard of The Guild but didn't actually watch it until I saw it was available to stream to the TV.

  • Looks like it could be decent, but I still have yet to see something that will really make it stand out to do the Dragon Age name justice.

  • Felicia Day, that's the girl who plays Codex in The Guild right?
  • mmhm. no thanks. Thought it was going to be an animation for some reason. This is creepy.

  • I think it sort of looks like a Uwe Boll movie...
  • LOLz

  • She was in Buffy.
  • This looks really bad and dumb imo xD
  • Bioware, Dragonage, an attractive redhead,an ESRB warning of sexual content... I suddenly miss Sarai x.x,
  • Not saying it looks amazing, but could be entertaining..

  • Hmmm, going to have to reserve judgement until I see more.

  • That's so corny I couldn't help but smile.

  • This looks mildly entertaining.

  • This trailer actually made me unsure if I should get Dragon Age 2. Also, I think EA could afford better cameras, or at least better special effects...or something. One of the first shots looked like an amatuer cosplayer taking a video with a Flip while running through the forest.
  • That....really was not that impressive...at all

  • Hooray for high school filming projects!
  • Looks like it could be cool, but I have a feeling it'll be pretty cheesy. I'll still watch it, though.
  • Meh as long as they make it bloody, it should work ENOUGH with the series.

But to be honest, Dragon Age is the kind of blockbuster than needs big-budget cinema to achieve the same effect, much like Assassin's Creed. Bloodlines and this just aren't going to cut it. They won't hurt, but they do nothing for marketing.

Mortal Kombat can be cheesy so that miniseries should turn out well- but here...
