Akuma And Taskmaster Confirmed For Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

After last week's very convincing leak that Akuma would appear in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Capcom is finally confirming it today along with Taskmaster on the Marvel side.

IGN has the reveal, but no details on how the characters are unlocked. Check out the trailer below to see the new fighters in action.

    taskmaster perfectly fits the akuma in the game!  they have the better moves and can do all of them better!  cool

    I'm actually not interested in theses characters Akuma is the same as always and taskmaster has the moves of otjer characters. Yawn.

    Anyone notice the Silver Surfer-like Doom at 0:47? As well as the giant cloud enveloping the earth? I'm thinking Galactus gave Doom some of the power cosmic and that you'll have to fight him as a sub-boss. Wesker should probably be there as well... Also, the timer changes to "Earth Limit" on top and "Save the Earth!" on the bottom. From that, I'm guessing that Galactus will devour the Earth if time runs out.

    That's a very Mega Man-esque skin for Zero in the first few seconds of the video. Maybe confirming he won't actually be in the game himself? Personally I think Zero is much cooler anyway, so I'm not complaining.

    cool i knew akuma will show up and it seems you can do other kinds of combos as for taskmaster... i never heard of him is he marvel or capcom also is seems that he has spidermans, capt.americans moves cool =) hoping for 100+ characters capcom

    These are two great additions to the game, but I do have one problem with it: Taskmaster's voice. He sounds more like a teenager than a *** mercernary who can copy the moves of anyone he sees.

    Can't say I'm super hyped about either character, but they seem kinda cool.  Interesting that Taskmaster has Spidey's web swing move, among others, it looks like it's good for aerial combos.

    Also, if there was any doubt about the leaked roster, it's completely gone now.

    Don't know whole lot about either character, but they both look pretty ***. Im REALLY hoping that they will but in megaman and a new character to the series from marvel, maybe like moon knight or Blade or something. They gotta make up for putting MODOK in there, i mean come on...
