Gray Matter Finally Coming To North America In February

by Phil Kollar on Jan 11, 2011 at 02:00 PM

File this one under "stories that Phil is probably the only person super excited about." Gray Matter, the new adventure game worked on by Gabriel Knight creator Jane Jensen, has finally received a somewhat solid-seeming release date. For the PC at least.

Publisher DTP Entertainment has cut a deal with Viva Media to bring Gray Matter out in North America in February. The game will launch both digitally and at retail some time next month. However, this deal only covers the PC version; the Xbox 360 port remains in limbo as far as North America is concerned. Gray Matter has been available on both PC and 360 in Germany since November of last year.

For those not in the know, Jensen worked on a number of classic Sierra adventure games before developing her own series, the Gabriel Knight games, which were totally awesome. Though it's a completely new IP, Gray Matter at least seems like it will continue the Gabriel Knight style of supernatural mystery. I'll find out for myself when it's available next month.
