Kinect-Enabled Hulu Plus And Netflix Coming To Xbox Live

Kicking off their CES keynote with a focus on Kinect, Microsoft just announced that Kinect-enabled Hulu Plus will be coming to Xbox Live this spring along with an upgrade to Netflix that adds Kinect support.

To use Hulu on Xbox Live, you'll have to be both an Xbox Live Gold subscriber and subscribe to Hulu Plus, which has an expanded offering of TV episodes and films for $7.99 a month. Both Hulu Plus access and the Kinect upgrade for Netflix will be added at some point this spring.

Any excitement over these new services on Xbox Live?

Microsoft should let you pick and choose which services you actually WANT to pay for. I only use Netflix and online gaming so I should be able to get those bundled at a lower price. If someone else wants to use facebook, twitter, Last FM, Zune, Video Kinect etc then they should be able to add that to their account for a higher annual fee.

Wtf is this? I just want free Hulu. Why pay for another video service when I already have Netflix? I mean can't they just give it to us for free? They already hiked the price up for Live :(

I have waited for this for months! Why couldn't they just release this when the Kinect first came out? In the first trailer (back when it was called Project Natal) it showed a couple surfing Netflix with a flick of their hands. What the heck?
