The lights are on
Earlier this year, Epic pulled an announcement of an announcement, letting us know that they had big Gears of War-related news for the Spike Video Game Awards. Apparently plans have changed.
Major Nelson reports that the planned Gears of War reveal has been postponed from tonight's event. According to Major Nelson, the news will come at some point in 2011, and it sounds like Microsoft may still deliver through Spike TV in some form.
Previously it had been rumored that the announcement could be a new Gears of War project that is Kinect-enabled. Sadly, we'll just have to keep speculating for the time being.
Well that sucks, hopefully we wont have to wait too much longer to hear whats going on.
Nooo! Oh well..
What?!aww thats NOT epic!
Aw man, they doing this so they can have something for people to look forward to early next yer I bet. If that's really the reason, its lame lol.
It's ok. Anything Gears of War I actually CAN wait for.
Speculate! Speculate! Speculate!
Speculating is fun!
I'm not that big of a Gears fan but, I was actually sort of interested in the announcement. Oh well I suppose, i'm still pumped for Del Toro's announcement and fingers crossed for some BATMANN
That's o.k I'm not in the mood for a gears. Would rather finish the plethora of games that have already been placed onto my game rack.
Oh well, the VGAs will still be awesome.
Thats too bad i was looking forward to it. At least there will be other great announcements.
I wouldn't mind a Gears of War 3 for pc announcment....
Yeah, watch. They're gonna turn around and show it on the VGAs and then ever one will be scrambling on to YouTube to catch it.
O.K., maybe not. But I'm gonna watch the VGAs, so a guy can hope!
i hope a Kinect gears of war never happens. Down with motion gaming!
I really hope Gears of War does not decide to become Kinect-enabled. I'm not a fan of Kinect to begin with and I sure as hell do not want my favorite gaming franchise to sink down a level in attempts to make more money or please Microsoft. If the announcement is not Kinect-related then I can't wait!
Kinect enabled.. Id like to see how that works.
I am guessing since they are working on Kinect controllers... so much for motion control huh?
