Giant Fallout: New Vegas Patch Finally Almost Here For All Platforms

by Phil Kollar on Dec 10, 2010 at 11:45 AM

Despite being a relatively awesome game, Fallout: New Vegas has driven many gamers to the brink of sanity with its unbelievable number of bugs. Thankfully, the game is set to get a heck of a lot better, as Bethesda has released a huge patch for the PlayStation 3 version and will be following up with a PC and Xbox 360 patch next week.

The numerous issues addressed in this update include problems with companions disappearing, saved game corruption issues, Pip-Boy problems, hardcore mode problems, crafting problems, vendor problems, problems with a ton of specific quests in the game, and much more. You can check out a post on the Bethesda Blog to see the full list of issues being fixed.

Personally, I sunk nearly 15 hours into New Vegas before putting it aside while I waited for a patch. Once this is out, I'll be much more excited to hop back in over the holidays. Anyone else preparing for a return trip to New Vegas?
