Yamauchi Answers Fan Questions On Gran Turismo 5

by Phil Kollar on Nov 30, 2010 at 03:15 PM

Gran Turismo 5 is finally here, and racing fans have been in car sim bliss for the past week. Just in case you've emerged long enough to wonder about the game's future, though, GT5 designer Kazunori Yamauchi has been answering questions via Twitter.

Yamauchi's Twitter account is in Japanese (of course), but fan site GT Planet has done the footwork to translate some of the most interesting tidbits. Most interesting is that Yamauchi wants to fix the game's blocky shadows and will be adding more mechanical damage options in an early December update. In-game rewards for good online performance may be coming in the future along with the ability to remove the HUD.

You can check out the full list of Gran Turismo 5 answers at the GT Planet link. And though it may make you eager for updates, I suspect there's enough content in GT5 to keep you busy while you wait.
