Pikachu Celebrates Ten Years In Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade By Inviting Friends
For the past ten years, Pikachu has been the Pokémon ambassador for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year the adorable electric Pokémon will celebrate the milestone alongside two brand new friends from the upcoming Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.
Reshiram and Zekrom, two Legendary Pokémon from the new DS games, will make their debut during the New York City parade in the form of 14 foot tall balloons. As further hype for the new games, the balloon handlers will dress in black and white uniforms instead of the traditional yellow pictured above.
