Rock Band Adds More R.E.M. To The Mix

Adding to the ever-expanding Rock Band Library, Harmonix and MTV announced a pair of new track packs this morning. An eight-pack of songs from R.E.M. will be joined by a three-pack of tunes from T. Rex, both added next week as DLC. Check out the song list below.
Available on Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 3 system (Oct. 5):

  • R.E.M. – “Driver 8” +
  • R.E.M. – “It’s the End of the World As We Know It (and I Feel Fine)” +
  • R.E.M. – “Living Well Is the Best Revenge”
  • R.E.M. – “Radio Free Europe” +
  • R.E.M. – “Stand” +
  • R.E.M. – “Superman” +
  • R.E.M. – “These Days” +
  • R.E.M. – “What’s the Frequency, Kenneth?”
  • T. Rex – “Children of the Revolution” +
  • T. Rex – “Cosmic Dancer” +
  • T. Rex – “Jeepster”

Tracks marked with “+” are compatable with LEGO Rock Band.

As always, the tracks are master recordings, and available to purchase as the “R.E.M. Pack 01” ($13.49/1,080 Microsoft Points) and the “T. Rex Pack 01” ($5.49/680 Microsoft Points) for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and as individuals for the Nintendo Wii. Individual songs are priced at $1.99/160 Microsoft Points/200 Wii Points each.
