The lights are on
A few months ago, we picked who we'd like to star in the rumored Mass Effect movie. Now we're hearing rumblings of a Hollywood take on Rockstar's western epic Red Dead Redemption. Rumors would place Brad Pitt in the role of John Marsten, but we have our own picks for RDR on the big screen. Take a look.
John Marston - Viggo Mortensen or Sean Bean (take your pick)
Bonnie MacFarlane - Naomi Watts (King Kong, Mulholland Drive)
Nigel West Dickens - Brian Doyle Murray (Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, Groundhog Day, pretty much everything else his brother was in)

Gamesradar did the same kind of feature. Overall I have to say you guys picks looked alot more like the characters. Also you both picked Sam Rockwell but that dude pretty much already is the character.
So many of these are so perfect... plus, Naomi Watts is SMOKIN hot in that dress.... Vigo for Marsten. Plus, what is up with the "transvestite donkey witch" tag?

That's just shocking because when I first played "Red Dead Redemption," I thought of how Viggo would be GREAT as John Marston...
Especially because I just watched "The Road" again last night, and he would just be perfect. Because he is perfect.

This casting is near perfect, Viggo Mortenson would definitely be the best choice for John if he can make his voice as gruff.
