A few months ago, we picked who we'd like to star in the rumored Mass Effect movie. Now we're hearing rumblings of a Hollywood take on Rockstar's western epic Red Dead Redemption. Rumors would place Brad Pitt in the role of John Marsten, but we have our own picks for RDR on the big screen. Take a look.

Bonnie MacFarlane - Naomi Watts (King Kong, Mulholland Drive)
Nigel West Dickens - Brian Doyle Murray (Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, Groundhog Day, pretty much everything else his brother was in)

So this would be an amazing cast. I wouldn't mind Johnny Depp as John Marston either. The horse however, is perfectly cast =)

This is great. These actors seriously look like the characters. All of them. YES. All of them.
Although I'm torn between Sean and Viggo. Viggo has John's nose, and eyes, but Sean has the the facial hair. I think I just can't imagine Aragorn with a gun.

LOL at the horse! Great call on Landon Ricketts, the whole time I was playing that part with him I couldn't help but think he was exactly like Sam Elliot.

Viggo Mortensen is the number one pick. He is also my pick to play Roland Deschain from the Dark Tower series.

Great casting. With David Zayas' role in Che I think he'd make a great Colonel Allende.
F*ck yeah! Viggo Mortenson! The guy's an awesome actor. Sean Bean isn't good. Remember the last time he was in a video game movie. Silent Hill. He was actually a major player in what ruined that movie.
Oh, and Naomi Watts is a hot actress, but she's really good too. Alot of these are good choices.
