The lights are on
While an earlier video feature focused on Warner Bros. Games Montreal taking the reigns of development for the next Batman game, we wanted to take a deeper dive into the new team's thoughts on Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. From their first experiences with Batman: Arkham Asylum to the highlights of Batman: Arkham City, the new developers in Montreal have a lot to say about the excellent work that came before them.
Watch the video below to hear the minds behind Batman: Arkham Origins reflect on how the release of Arkham Asylum changed the game industry and what lessons they hope to carry forward into the upcoming release.

the best BATMAN series.......... todate
I am getting a significant 343/bubbie vibe. It's not exactly the same situation but I feel the end result will be similar.
I have faith they will give us a really good batman game.
Sorry, doodlees. I have a bad feeling about this.
Man!! This game is gonna be good!
Please, WB Montreal, don't screw up and ruin this amazing franchise!
I appreciate that they acknowledge the originals and want to grow but add with their game, it sort of bugged me how 343 appreciated the originals but said "we strive to make it better, to add to the sandbox" and hardly changed the formula in Halo 4. Maybe Halo 5. But Arkham Origins is still a "maybe" for me, I'm liking their enthusiasm but need to see the actual game or a trailer or something.
I think it can hardly be better than City at this point, but if they can at least maintain the level of polish and excitement, then I'm stoked. The narrative should certainly be excellent.
