Weekend Warrior 11/02/12

by Jordan LaPorte on Nov 02, 2012 at 02:00 PM

Assassin’s Creed III and Need for Speed: Most Wanted both released this week, and both games will be receiving plenty of attention this weekend from the staff. There might also be some time for taking care of babies and dressing up in costumes. How will you be spending your weekend?

Andrew Reiner: My little girl Evalei Alice Reiner was born on October 30 at 9:33pm. She's an adorable ray of sunshine. She's also an efficient destroyer of diapers. My wife Kelly mostly has me on diaper duty, as my breasts have yet to start producing milk. I'm basically the key grip in this film of life. This weekend I'll probably change a dozen diapers, and watch Evi sleep. If I get any game time, it's going to Assassin's Creed III and Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I plan on playing more Assassin’s Creed 3. The combat is so fun and addictive that I can’t pass a group of redcoats in the street without stopping and stabbing them all. I think I have a problem.

Ben Hanson: I wrapped up Assassin's Creed 3 on Wednesday night (click here to listen to my thoughts on the game in this week's podcast) but I might go back and explore the world a bit more. I know that I have a lot of sidequests and missions ahead of me. Other than that, I will most likely play more Need for Speed: Most Wanted. That game has made me so glad that I bought Kato's surround sound from him, it looks and sounds amazing. I'm sure there will be some other games thrown into the mix, but who knows! Life is an adventure or something. Enjoy!

Kyle Hilliard: I asked Ben Reeves to bring me the copy of Halo 4 that we’re sharing custody over into the office today so I could play it over the weekend, but he forgot, so I guess I will just have to settle for playing Assassin’s Creed III and Liberation. Also, costume party.

Mike Mahardy: I’ll be playing even more Assassin’s Creed III. I’ve put around 16 hours into the game but the sheer number of things I can get distracted with have been pulling me away from the main story. If I get too much of Connor’s attitude, I’ll continue my playthrough of Resident Evil Revelations, which I’m also loving. Also, costume parties. I’ll be sporting an orange vest and my best Marty McFly impersonation.

Jordan LaPorte: I’m in the middle of playing through both Assassin’s Creed III and Need for Speed: Most Wanted, so of my weekend will be spent continuing to play those. I have yet to see Argo or Cloud Atlas, and with Wreck-it-Ralph and Flight being released this week I have some catching up to do on the movie front, so I might try to see one or two of those this weekend as well.
