My best friend Reiner and I have been on a lot of adventures together, but nothing could have prepared us for the epic RPG journey that is MLB 12: The Show.
While Reiner babbles on about something called "based ball" (??), I go into intricate detail about the intense, stat-based experience going on in this game. Can't tell your mages from your warlocks and your critical hits from your armor class? Don't worry, everyone, I'm here to help.

You guys are adorable. Is it okay to call two fully grown men adorable? Nope, not asking, you are and I have decided this is now fact, am changing the Wikipedia entry as we speak.
Also, I want to thank Phil for translating all that overly complicated Baseball jargon into simple to digest words. I almost had a panic attack when Reiner started speaking in tongues about home runs but all Phil had to say was Limit Break and I found my footing again. Hoorah!

I wish I could check this game out myself. I tend to love renting baseball games and playing them for a week (not a huge fan, but it's fun for a little bit). Now that my local renting places are dead, I can't do that. :(

Phil loves hitting people in the head with baseballs and so does any worthwjile entertainer, so i can tell hes in the right bis.
Why even bother with this Quick Look, er...I mean, Reiner and Phil Play? Reiner didn't talk about anything of substance related to the game, at least not up through when they started the Home Run Derby™. I checked out at that point, realizing the video was one long, stupid joke. I hope next time Phil is all dewy eyed over a game they bring in someone to do the Quick Look, I mean, Reiner and Phil Play, that hates the genre so that person can make fun of it and crap up the entire video.
