Max Payne 3 looks incredible. We liked what we saw of the game when Rockstar brought it by the office last month, and just couldn't wait to get poor Max back in our lives. We decided to pop in this Remedy classic, shoot up some bad guys in bullet time, and reminisce on the sorry life of one of gaming's greatest sad sacks.

Join Andrew Reiner, Jim Reilly, Kyle Hilliard, and myself as we dive (slo-mo style) back into this third-person noir-style shooter. Do the the constipated facial textures and jaunty animations mar the experience, or will the delightfully overwrought monologue and unique combat win us over again?

Having seen the Doom movie at the cinema, I have also felt that pain, Tim. That awful FPS scene still haunts me at times.

Ben Reeves' famous line "a cold slap of rain" is actually a line said by Aragorn in the first half of the Two Towers book. But don't let the Tolkien fan boys find out about it or he'll lose the rights to it and any royalties. lol

Gahh, I love Max Payne! The theme is one of my favourites as well. I like it best in Max Payne 2 though... the cello is perfect.
