The lights are on
Upward and onward, mighty Marvel marching squad! On this astounding edition of Reiner and Phil, we invite benevolent Ben Reeves to show us a power-packed portion of the new Sega game starring none other than the Mighty Thor! Excelsior!
Stan Lee-isms aside, this game kind of sucks. But you should still watch to see: a thunder god dying in several hilarious ways, Ben creating some truly memorable and surefire successful Thor-based pick-up lines, and a brief look at the much more interesting DS version of Thor developed by WayForward, presented in Magical DSVision (TM).
Did Tim write that opening? "Benevolent Ben Reeves?" For shame, Mr. Kollar! For shame!
Awesome to see a DS game, I'd like to see more of those.
I liked seeing a DS game. Unfortunately I thought the two screens were a bit too hard to see.
"Hey baby, this hammer isn't the only thing I can pick up."
Do you guys have the 3DS version? Is there even one?
Ben is an ARTARD! why is he even here?
Guh, that looks terrible.
is that a hammer in your pocket, 'cause i'm attracted to something in your pants
I believe it goes, "Is that an ancient Tibetan ritual dagger in your pocket?" (Chloe's line, not mine. Cutscene in Uncharted 2.)
Awesome as always! The Thor pick-up lines were great.
Another great episode :D The ps3/306 Thor game looks absolutely terrible o.O However the DS one looks amazing! I'd really like to buy that now, since I've only played pokemon on my DS so far. You guys should totally do more episodes with DS games, it was pretty sweet ^^
Oh and I kinda Agree with Reiner that the Marvel Thor is lame, because Norse Thor is just so much more *** and he's got a beard. But since I'm Scandinavian I guess I might be a little biased. ^_^
Why oh why do companies insist on releasing all these sub par games for upcoming movies. If anyone ever bothered to make real games for movie releases it would open the market to actual gamers instead of retarded parents trying to placate their children with crap games made to help promote the most recent wannabe block buster film.
"Sega’s Thor: God of Thunder feels like it just rolled off the line at a generic action game factory."
I love the fact that that's at the top of the news like it's a real shocker or something.
