In addition to sitting down for an interview about building Battlefield 3, general manger Karl-Magnus Troedsson led us on a quick tour of the beautiful DICE studio situated in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden. Check out the video to get a better idea of where the Battlefield series is crafted.

I bloody love this Studio... I live like 10 minutes away and i pass buy it all the time.. It's absolutely mesmerizing. I would kill to work here... only place I would rather go to is Bethesda studios.

Nice, the General Manager is a very nice man, i thought General Managers where always dictators pushing the team to build a game quickly! :D Bud the studio looks cool. Lots and lots of glass.. Looks a bit like Mirrors Edge :D I hope Mirrors Edge 2 will come in the future.. I really hope! Bud first things first.. Battlefield 3...

And by the way.. Does DICE only have one level? Or do they have multiple levels in that building?

These studio tours are great! That one definitely has a different feel to it than some of the American ones we've seen, very Scandinavian in design. But one thing I love is that all these places try really hard to strike a balance between work, play, and health. I think that companies in other industries could learn a thing or two from these game studios.
